Clinical Supervision for LCSWAs in North Carolina
If you're an LCSWA in North Carolina looking for a clinical supervisor who truly sees you—your lived experiences, your professional aspirations, and your personal identity—you've probably realized how difficult it can be. Finding a Black supervisor who is experienced, relatable, and affordable shouldn’t be a struggle.
Yet, too often, it is.
That’s where I come in.
I provide collaborative, client-led supervision designed for clinicians who want to grow into confident, well-equipped social workers. My niche specialty—queer- and trans-affirming sex and couples therapy—offers a rare opportunity to gain expertise in an area that’s often overlooked in traditional supervision settings.
If you’re ready to grow into the ethical, skilled, and self-assured clinical social worker you want to be, let’s talk.
Who I Work With

I offer clinical supervision for:
✔️ North Carolina LCSWAs who need or want supervision outside of their workplace
✔️ BIPOC clinicians seeking culturally competent mentorship
✔️ Queer- and trans-affirming therapists
✔️ Clinicians interested in sex and couples therapy
✔️ Supervisees looking to build confidence in themselves, their clinical skills, and ethical decision-making
Whether you're just starting out or nearing full licensure, I’ll support you in developing your professional identity, mastering interventions, and navigating the challenges of clinical practice.

Specialized Training: If you’re interested in sex therapy or couples counseling, I offer insight you won’t find in most supervision settings.
Ethics, Self-Care & Professionalism: Our conversations go beyond cases—we discuss maintaining balance, setting boundaries, and navigating ethical dilemmas.

Frequently Asked Questions

-
Yes, I am licensed to provide clinical supervision for LCSWAs in North Carolina. However, virtual sessions allow me to work with supervisees across the state.

-
I offer a free introductory meeting where we can discuss your needs, goals, and supervision style preferences. This ensures we’re a good fit before moving forward.
- What if I don’t specialize in sex and couples therapy?
-
That’s totally fine! While I have a specialty in queer- and trans-affirming sex and couples therapy, my supervision covers a broad range of clinical practice areas. You’ll receive guidance tailored to your interests and client population.
As a heads up, I don't have much experience with the following populations or specialty areas:
- Children (under 18)
- Families
- Grief therapy
- Sexual Offenders
- Personality Disorders
- I am or will be a faith-based therapist. Can you help me?
-
Absolutely! Authenticity is a core value of mine and that includes in supervision. I want you to bring your full self to our conversations and that may include your faith or spirituality. We can talk about how these beliefs influence your goals and practice.
